What is a Maths Mania fundraiser? Is it just a mathathon fundraiser online?

A Go Raise It “Maths Mania” fundraiser is a mathathon style sponsored fundraiser run online on our custom built school fundraising platform. Our team will work with you to plan your fundraiser and create your own custom fundraising website for your students to seek online sponsorship for their efforts during your Maths Mania fundraiser. Our fundraising websites even allow your students to choose a goal for what they will aim to achieve during the fundraiser. They can show their goal on their own unique fundraising page and send this to friends and family to sponsor them for their efforts. Our team will work with you to plan how you want it to work and then build this into your fundraising website.

How much work is involved for the organisers?

A Maths Mania fundraiser is very easy to organise. You will need to decide what the students will be doing as their activity – this could be as simple as all students choosing to spend extra minutes per day on maths problems during the fundraiser. You can decide whether students track this themselves or in class on a class tracking sheet.
